Social Distancing Office Platform

Just 6 weeks into lockdown the Scottish Office interiors specialist Amos Beech launched an independent non-profit platform, where all involved in the office interiors, facilities and fit-out sector could share ideas and solutions to help people return to the office in a safe and pleasant way. Although the situation was worrying, Amos Beech was confident that office life would return. They also felt that some opportunists companies were trying to exploit the situation by suddenly marketing products that weren’t necessarily part of their expertise.

The mission of the platfom was to help office workers and facility managers with the new way of working after the Coronavirus lockdown by sharing social distancing ideas & solutions from all involved in the office interiors and facilities industries.

Development

The STUDIOHIG team worked closely with the interior design team @ Amos Beech to draw up the concept. A new logo, domain name, website and socials were introduced within just a few weeks.

RESULTS

The site quickly gained traction via social media and the initiative was supported by various industry leading companies. However, it has to be said that attention for air circulation and HVAC still leaves much to be desired for and this is also the case for most office, commercial and public spaces.

Currently the site is idle awaiting future develoment and we obviously hope we don’t need it anymore in the future.
