Nichol and Hill manufacture made to measure curtains and high quality furniture for the commercial sector in the UK and is now part of the NHC Group.

The Start

The site was out of date and understandably wasn’t even in people’s email signatures. The last blog was from 2015(?!) and a decent CMS wasn’t available. So with only access to the DNS, the only way forward was to start again from scratch. Initially the plan was to have a new website available towards the end of 2022, but this wouldn’t do justice to the great potential of the company and to the commitment of the staff.

Development

Already in the very early stages of the take-over we had put the site in our tools to gain a bit of an understanding of the market, search behaviour and other websites within the industry.

Because of the time frame we decided to migrate the site to a new platform as quickly as possible using mostly existing content. In addition to this we added some new images, some taken on site and some kindly licenced to us via suppliers and clients.

RESULTS

The renewed site was launched in June 2022 and SEO is still in it’s very early stages. We have now done a thourough kewword research and about to update the site with new content shortly.
